2. Was die App tut
Klango ist eine Karteikarten-Lern-App für iPhone, iPad und Mac. Du erstellst Decks aus Begriffen und Bedeutungen und lernst sie in fünf Modi (Karteikarten, Lernen, Schreiben, Test, Match). Alle Inhalte und Lernfortschritte werden ausschließlich lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert.
3. Welche Daten verarbeitet werden
3.1 Auf deinem Gerät (lokal)
- Deine Decks und Karten (Begriffe, Bedeutungen, Markierungen)
- Lernfortschritt (SuperMemo-SM-2-Werte: ease, interval, dueDate, lapses)
- Deine Spracheinstellung in der App
- Onboarding-Status (einmaliger Flag, ob die Welcome-Screens schon gesehen wurden)
Die Speicherung erfolgt via Apple SwiftData in der App-Sandbox deines Geräts. Diese Daten verlassen dein Gerät nicht. Beim Löschen der App werden alle Daten automatisch mitgelöscht.
3.2 An uns übertragen
Keine. Die App sendet keine Daten an uns oder an Dritte.
3.3 Apple App Store
Beim Download und beim Senden von Crash-Reports verarbeitet Apple gemäß Apples Datenschutzrichtlinie bestimmte Daten. Wir haben darauf keinen Einfluss und erhalten keinen Zugriff darauf, außer in stark aggregierter Form (Downloadzahlen).
4. Tracking, Analytics, Werbung
Die App nutzt kein Tracking, keine Analytics-SDKs (kein Firebase, kein Google Analytics, kein Mixpanel etc.) und keine Werbung. Die App fordert keine App Tracking Transparency (ATT) Erlaubnis an, weil sie kein Tracking durchführt.
5. Nutzung von System-APIs (Apple Privacy Manifest)
Die App nutzt zwei Standard-iOS-APIs aus von Apple definierten "Required Reasons":
NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategoryUserDefaults(GrundCA92.1): App-eigene Einstellungen, ausschließlich in der App-Sandbox.NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategoryFileTimestamp(GrundC617.1): Zugriff auf Datei-Zeitstempel beim Erstellen der CSV-/JSON-Export-Dateien, die du selbst auslöst.
Beides ist im PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy der App deklariert.
6. Datenexport (durch dich)
In den Einstellungen kannst du deine Decks und Karten als CSV- oder JSON-Datei exportieren. Diese Aktion wird ausschließlich von dir ausgelöst. Die Datei wird über das System-Share-Sheet weitergegeben — wohin sie geht (E-Mail, iCloud Drive, AirDrop usw.), entscheidest du. Wir erhalten davon nichts.
7. Deine Rechte (DSGVO)
Da wir keine personenbezogenen Daten über dich verarbeiten, gibt es bei uns nichts auszukunften, zu berichtigen, zu löschen oder zu übertragen. Falls du dennoch Fragen hast, schreib uns an die oben genannte Kontaktadresse.
8. Kinder
Die App ist altersmäßig als 4+ eingestuft und für alle Altersklassen geeignet. Sie sammelt keine Daten — auch keine von Kindern.
9. Änderungen dieser Erklärung
Wenn sich der Funktionsumfang der App relevant ändert, aktualisieren wir diese Seite. Das Effective Date oben am Anfang gibt die jeweils gültige Fassung an.

2. What the App Does
Klango is a flashcard learning app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. You build decks of terms and definitions and study them in five modes (Flashcards, Learn, Write, Test, Match). All content and learning progress is stored locally on your device only.
3. What Data is Processed
3.1 On your device (local only)
- Your decks and cards (terms, definitions, stars)
- Learning progress (SuperMemo SM-2 values: ease, interval, dueDate, lapses)
- Your in-app language preference
- Onboarding state (one-time flag whether the welcome screens were shown)
Storage is handled by Apple SwiftData inside the app sandbox on your device. This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app removes all data automatically.
3.2 Transmitted to us
None. The app does not send any data to us or any third party.
3.3 Apple App Store
Apple processes certain data on download and crash reporting per Apple's privacy policy. We have no control over this and only receive heavily aggregated information (download counts).
4. Tracking, Analytics, Advertising
The app uses no tracking, no analytics SDKs (no Firebase, Google Analytics, Mixpanel etc.) and no advertising. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission because it does not track.
5. System API Usage (Apple Privacy Manifest)
The app uses two standard iOS APIs from Apple's defined "Required Reasons":

Both are declared in the app's PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy.
6. Data Export (initiated by you)
In settings, you can export your decks and cards as a CSV or JSON file. This action is initiated solely by you. The file is handed off via the system share sheet — where it goes (mail, iCloud Drive, AirDrop, etc.) is your choice. We receive nothing.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
Since we don't process any personal data about you, there is nothing on our side to disclose, correct, delete or transfer. If you still have questions, please contact us at the address above.
8. Children
The app is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages. It collects no data — including none from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
If the app's functionality changes materially, we will update this page. The Effective Date at the top indicates the currently applicable version.
